Aeration & Seeding involves penetrating the soil and making small holes in the ground that allows air, water, and nutrients to reach the roots of the grass.  This will improve the density of your lawn by helping the seed fill in the thin and patchy areas.  There are many benefits from Aeration such as improve fertilizer uptake, reduce water runoff and puddling, stronger grass roots, reduce soil compaction, enhance heat and drought stress tolerance, and enhance thatch breakdown.  Overtime, grass needs to be replaced to keep the density of your lawn.  This can be done in the early Spring Season or the Fall Season. We notice better results from lawns that get aerated and seeded in Fall season because it allows the lawn to get established before the Summer.
